She focuses on expressing powerful and dramatic emotions, often in relations between humans, and the colours and shades of colours is an important element in her expression. She paints figuratively in style, but the paintings also have something abstract or surrealistic about them. They can �float�, meaning that they do not have a clear boarder. Also the �position in the room� is central to her. The medium is oil on linen canvas, and she is mostly self taught. Inspiration to her work she has found during her travels around the world, but also from everyday life.
